SECTION 1
Overview and acceptance
Last updated: 5 August 2026
Worldscar is a real-world, location-based action RPG. By downloading, accessing, or using the game,
you agree to these Terms of Play, the studio-wide Terms and Conditions,
and the Worldscar Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the game.
These product terms take priority where Worldscar includes location-based, multiplayer, safety, or
conduct rules that are more specific than the studio-wide terms.
SECTION 2
Real-world safety and personal responsibility
Worldscar is designed to be played in the real world. You are responsible for your own safety and for
deciding when, where, and how to play.
- Stay aware of your surroundings and keep control of your movement at all times.
- Do not play while driving, cycling in traffic, operating machinery, or doing anything that requires your full attention.
- Obey traffic laws, pedestrian rules, signs, weather warnings, emergency instructions, and event or venue rules.
- Stop playing immediately if the area becomes unsafe, crowded, restricted, or inappropriate for device use.
Worldscar is not a navigation service, emergency service, medical service, health device, or fitness
device. Do not rely on the game for route safety, emergency decisions, or health advice.
SECTION 3
Property, access, and real-world locations
You must respect private property, restricted spaces, and the rights of other people.
- Do not trespass or attempt to enter property or areas where you do not have permission to be.
- Do not climb barriers, enter construction zones, step into roads unsafely, or ignore closures or access controls.
- Do not create a nuisance, block public ways, disturb residents, or interfere with businesses, staff, or events.
- If a place is unsafe, sensitive, private, or clearly unsuitable, do not use the game there even if gameplay elements appear nearby.
Gameplay locations may change, disappear, or be removed for safety, operational, legal, or data-quality
reasons. We do not guarantee that any specific encounter, cache, route, boss, or map feature will remain
available at any location.
SECTION 4
Conduct with other players and other people
When using multiplayer, social, or community features, you must behave safely and respectfully.
- Do not harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate, abuse, or intimidate other players or third parties.
- Do not share sensitive personal information about yourself or anyone else in chat, names, profiles, or reports.
- Do not use unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive, or otherwise inappropriate names, messages, or user content.
- Do not encourage other players to break the law, trespass, spoof location, or take unsafe actions.
SECTION 5
Fair play, device integrity, and cheating
To protect fair play, you agree not to:
- Falsify or manipulate device location, movement, time, or sensor data, including through GPS spoofing or similar tools.
- Use bots, macros, scripts, unofficial clients, injected code, emulation tricks, or any other automation or interference.
- Exploit bugs, duplicate items, farm rewards abusively, manipulate matchmaking, or misreport game states.
- Buy, sell, rent, transfer, or share accounts, or operate multiple accounts in a way that undermines fair play.
- Use rooted, jailbroken, modified, or otherwise compromised devices in ways that interfere with security or enforcement.
We may use lawful technical, gameplay, network, moderation, and report-based signals to detect cheating,
fraud, abuse, unsafe behaviour, or rule-breaking. More detail on related data processing appears in the
Worldscar Privacy Notice.
SECTION 6
Accounts, eligibility, and children
Worldscar is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required by local law. If you
are below the age needed to use the service lawfully in your country, do not use the game unless and until
we provide an appropriate consent flow that explicitly allows it.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your device and account. Keep your access secure and
contact us promptly if you believe your account, profile, or device-linked access has been compromised.
SECTION 7
Virtual items, rewards, and purchases
Unless mandatory law says otherwise, in-game items, currencies, unlocks, rewards, and other virtual
content are licensed, not sold. They exist only within the game, have no cash value outside it, and may
not be exchanged for real money except through a store or flow we expressly authorise.
If Worldscar later introduces paid features or in-app purchases, store-specific billing, refund, and
cancellation rules may also apply in addition to these terms.
SECTION 8
Availability, map data, and live changes
Worldscar depends on live services, device permissions, map data, terrain classification, weather data,
network connectivity, and other third-party infrastructure. These can change without notice and may affect
how the game behaves.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the accuracy of all map, route, safety, or location-adjacent data.
- We may rebalance or remove encounters, caches, routes, social features, or map behaviours to improve safety, quality, or compliance.
- We may update these terms, product rules, or enforcement practices as the game evolves.
SECTION 9
Liability and third-party disputes
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you use Worldscar at your own risk. You are responsible for your
physical movements, route choices, surroundings, devices, and interactions with other people while using
the game.
If you have a dispute with a property owner, venue, organiser, participant, passer-by, or other third
party arising from your use of Worldscar, you agree that the dispute is between you and that third party.
To the extent permitted by law, you release Graylark Studio from claims arising out of such disputes.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud,
fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
SECTION 10
Enforcement, suspension, and updates
We may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate access to Worldscar if we reasonably believe you have broken
these terms, harmed other players, created safety or legal risk, cheated, abused systems, or exposed us or
others to harm.
We may also remove or limit access to specific features, accounts, names, chats, parties, or content while
we investigate reports or enforce these terms.
